Hairox® inhibits the enzyme 5-α reductase
- The above 5a reductase converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), whose presence is the cause of alopecia. By reducing the negative effects of the above, less DHT is generated.
- Hairox has shown in one study to inhibit the conversion of testosterone by -10.9%.
